Look what we did...

It only took us about 2 months... but....

Welcome to our new bathroom!

Unfortunately my before pictures are MIA - I'll try to round them up and post. Everyone that's visited the house knows how lovely the "before" bathroom was.

The only thing left to do is change out the doors to the white six panel ones. That will be done to the whole house at once.

A very challenging project we are glad to have behind us - now time to repeat in the upstairs bathroom (with plenty of lessons learned the hard way)

Forward progress!

Let's see... we had a wonderful New Year's at the beach house with Mom & Dad. I'll let you hear for yourself from Mom's blog.

And as usual, we've been working on the house... You guys are probably a bit bored as it seems the "Walker Weekly" is more a journal of our home renovations - oh well, you get what you get : )

Since I've last posted we've painted the moldings (a no fun task) -

Cut the sheet rock out of the shower (scary, always scary when you cut sheetrock) -

Installed the vapor barrier-

Installed the cement board -

Cut and layout tile to fit (don't ask why this photo isn't rotated) -

Installed tile!!

All we have left to do on the bathroom is install the molding (the paint is drying now) and then, of course, the little things shower curtain, towel rod, etc! So close! Visitors welcome ; )
