L-A-Z-Y

This has to be our laziest weekend since the wedding (well for that matter long before the wedding)... I got to enjoy my first two day weekend in a long time.

Friday night my friend Sarah came over for pizza and a movie (Ghosts of Girlfriends Past - funny chick flick, sorry Chris). Nothing exciting, just a low key night.

Saturday we slept in, then crawled to the couch, poured some coffee and watched another movie (Speed and Angels - documentary on two fighter pilots, very good). It felt so good to just spend a lazy Saturday morning lounging around. We took for for Tacoma that afternoon because Chris had drill. I dropped him off at Camp Murray then headed to Auburn to spend some time with Kyanne. We cruised around the Southcenter mall and managed to not spend much money. But we did spring for some .50 cotton candy. It made our teeth hurt just looking at it. That evening we picked Chris up after his gig (ps - Kyanne, that black suburban we saw parked while waiting for Chris was Christine Gregoire's.) Headed to Auburn and met up with mom and dad for a bit.

This morning Chris and I both slept in really late. (hey, 9 is late when you're normally up by 4:30) After a bit of lounging we decided we shouldn't waste our Sunday too. The day was spent scrubbing floors, cleaning windows, dusting shelves, oiling the wood, blah, blah, blah. All those chores that were well, well overdue. Little bit of grocery shopping, homemade chicken dumpling soup and here we are at the end of the weekend.

Doesn't sound like a lazy weekend to me! Moving from bed to couch to coffee pot is hard work!
