AFRC Drill #1

This will be a short one here...

Chris had his first Air Force Reserve Command drill weekend with the 446th AMX. Unfortunately this weekend he didn't get to actually do much, just lots and lots of paperwork. He came home with his head spinning, a smile on his face and ready to go back for more! He'll have to get his annual training in (2 weeks) this summer down at McChord so hopefully that will be a good introduction before he heads off to tech school this winter. I think we're on to something good.

I just stayed with Mom & Dad and played with the doggie in the sun all weekend (and studied). Pretty uneventful.

Bear dawg playing in the sprinkler Dad set up for him:

Time to get some studying in - and there is a big pile of crispy new ABUs (Airman Battle Uniform - I'm still getting my AF lingo down) waiting to be washed.

Have a good week everyone - we're looking forward to the Walkers visting next week :)

Enjoyed having Dawg...and you guys visit for the weekend.

It was good to see Chris enthused about drill instead of us sending him out the door kicking and screaming.

Bear seems to really like the sprinkler we could have used some cooling in Idaho in the 90's to much for me. We had a good time even though some engine troules with the boat will give details later.Hope we can get together soon. Grama Book

I think I could watch that video as often as I watch those of Payton! Loved it, I think Bear could have a future in TV!
